My little brother texted me the morning of that sale telling me he saw it on social media somewhere. I hopped on and grabbed 5 boxes. That's the cheapest I've seen sealed packs since like 2018 haha. Hope they clearance out Lost Origin and Brilliant Stars next.

I think you're right on with your idea that selling out of the build and battle Silver Tempest boxes at $20 ea wasn't a mistake. I think Gamestop as a company is back to bleeding cash and on the verge of bankruptcy again because they're still an obsolete company like they were in 2020 before the pandemic, and they almost close up all their stores in 2020. This allows them to get rid of probably a thousand boxes of one of their slowest-selling TCG products sitting in warehouses. They need room for all the new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom merch haha

It was a pricing mistake that they corrected hours later. They cancelled all online orders except pick up in-store. The store I tried said they shipped out two cases before the mistake was fixed.
I bought one of these recently for $30 and pulled 1 card out of 12 packs which was sad lol. I'd never spend $60 on those, it not worth it

Ordered 4 and 2 milk cartons online. Seems like Gamestop is having random deals lately. Weird considering they are price gouging on ths rest of there cards.

It's always cool getting an extra hit I've seen it a few times.. I actually picked up a couple of the crown zenith three pack blisters and they both had two promo cards it was pretty cool

They're just doing this to get people in the doors to buy their overpriced Pokemon stuff. Because most people won't just buy the sale priced thing.

Big Retail store in Australia (JB Hi Fi) had Astral/Lost/Silver for $40AUD today – for comparison – they retail here for about $100AUD and our version of Game Stop (EB Games) has them for $120AUD!

I was happy with my pulls, i think it was probably more like post to be $20 off like the lost origin build and battle which is like 40 bucks. The milk box is a good deal 7 packs and the promo is like 10 bucks for 25 bucks.
Gamestop ain't losing any money over this. If anything. They just won't meet revenue. Their trade in value for resale games are insane. You get pennies on a dollar for trade ins.
