Martina Navratilova never crusaded. Wanted to just be treated well. She absolutely hates the men in women's sports bullshit. When the gay community is turning on you (and they are), you're doing wrong.
She gets no credit from me. Instead of having the fortitude to put anything on the line to stand against this, she waited until it was convenient for her to speak out.
The female professionals who won't stand against this should not be viewed as role models. They worked hard to reach their goals and now the next generation of women are being denied that same thing because men are allowed in their sport and these role models say NOTHING.
On a positive note, at least more people are finally paying attention to women's sports. It took the participation of a man to do so, but that's looking at the little details 😛
