If GameStop has any hope of turning things around they really need to go back to basics. Walking in to a video game store I just want to look at games and chat with the staff about games. Just cozy and friendly. Walking in to a GameStop is like a sensory overload. Walls of games stacked to the ceiling, a bunch toys and pop culture stuff, and not even a great variety of games. GameStop would need to stop expecting their employees to push stuff on customers and just allow them to be themselves and build a rapport with customers.
Thank god. All the high price resellers are going to be removed from the market. π
