  1. if i were gamestop id sue, that note is called slanderous liable, and id be like the bike lady in ny, you arent slandering me and getting away with it, its not my fault that you decided to take your paycheck and buy fentanyl and complain, just more reasons 20 yr olds should not be employed anywhere. you shut down my business, cost me thousands of $$ and u think your not getting sued, please, as a business owner you dont stand a chance legally.

  2. When you're a teenager you think it'd be awesome to work at gamestop (back in the early days of the internet, before all the horror stories came out). As an adult you're thankful you didn't work there.

  3. Mate, I dont know what is your problem with gamestop . I think you are paid by Kenneth C. Griffin
Chief Executive Officer of Citadel LLC to bring down the retail investors to not invest anymore in GME. Guys dont listen to this guys ,everything from this video and comments is fake news. Invest in GME with trust, it’s may change your life ! Not an financial advice

  4. GameStop is gonna raise the price of their rewards program from $15-25$ and the employees are being told to not mention the price increase and renew for the new price

  5. "People were pooping in the damn corner…"

I guess if there isnt a clear and present Comment Box, you're gonna have pooping in the corner. USA! USA!

  6. It amazes me that people nowadays don't understand anything about the companies that they apply to for work. Don't read contracts, don't follow news and don't read financial reports of your employer. Gamestop is more of a collectible store now that happens to sell videogames and does anyone really collect Funkopops?

They literally bleed money and shut down stores, cancelled recent plans to open up additional distribtution hubs as they were attempting to move a lot of business on-line, yet people continue to want a pay raise?

I haven't been in Gamestop in a couple years, their PC section is a single shelf and mostly just cards with Steam codes and a couple cheap peripherals when you can get much better alternatives on-line.

Should you not be happy at a position, put in your two weeks, but don't walk out, it might feel good, but you better believe it's going to make it harder landing a worthwhile job, even if you don't bring up working for Gamestop, they're going to ask what you did during that time. Best of luck.

  7. Hey Camelot331 I got a real good story from myself and another Mgr from another retailer I'm SURE you'd wanna hear about. We have so much to tell you. If you have the time to reach out to me so I can better explain in private, please do I'll provide my contact info to ya!

  8. This actually happened at the Gamestop here in California in the town that I live in. The entire staff just quit. Gamestop replaced them all extremely fast. It's sad to see this company slowly fall apart

  9. Yes, I did this to back when I got my first job in 1987 and there were five of use on day shift. when we were there for a year, they gave us pay raises, of a big whole five cents. beside the five of use, half of the store quit two days later. did i mention this was Wendy's

  10. So, what, did they not agree to work for these low wages when they took the jobs? "Wait a minute, I thought u meant $100 per hour, not per day."
All these low paying jobs were never meant for people to raise families on. They are for young people still living at home that have no other marketable skills.
If you can't support yourself on the wages you make, it is YOUR responsibility to correct that. Work 2 or 3 jobs. Excuses are why the US is falling behind in everything.

  11. Love seeing retail workers throw their worthless district and regional managers under the bus. FYI, Brighton is a real 'hoity toity' area of Michigan, rich people make the worst Karens.
