I think those straps are called guitar straps (named because they look like guitar straps). I like them too, and have been seeing them all over Amazon.
I have tried various antitheft purses and bags, and you're right– it's hard to find a cute one! I settled on a Sherpani Vale. It's cute-adjacent with enough security features to make me feel mostly safe, lol!
I do have an antitheft/slash proof black bag from Travelon. It is a larger than I usually use in my everyday life, but I do need more stuff when I’m going to be out and about all day exploring. I like it because it has two outside pockets. One for my water bottle and another I add an umbrella (when needed). I have used it at home after a trip (before I have time to unpack) and have gotten compliments. It does look more like a normal purse.

The type of bag I use really depends on the vacation and our planned activities. I have really been gravitating towards a Fanny pack worn across my chest, I also really like my Baggu crescent, I have several crossbody bags, backpacks, sling bags…..all hold a special place in my heart🥰. I really like the first crossbody camera bag you showed, it looks structured yet soft, often those styles are tough to get into as they are too rigid.

I like the hobo bag. For me, the bag needs to fit a water bottle. Plus, you can also use it as a packing cube in your suitcase.

Hi. Is there a reason why you don’t review travelpro, Samsonite or Delsey luggage?? These brands have been around for years and they have hard case luggage’s comparable quality to some that you already review.
Love the backpack. As I've gotten older I've discovered I really only need a small purse. Just something to hold my phone, a tiny flip wallet, my glasses and sunglasses and maybe some chapstick. Do you ever travel within the US? Since you go to a lot of out of the way places outside the US do you ever want to find those out of the way places in the US as well? Not suggesting you do it, just curious.
I like a small crossbody purse or belt bag for travel. For flights, I just pack my small purse or belt bag into my backpack I use for a personal item. If I'm going to an amusement park, then I prefer a backpack purse.

I'll be wearing a sling bag on our next trip, and have a feeling that might be my new favorite way to wear a bag. Are the side pockets on the backpack large enough to hold a decent size water bottle (like maybe 24 oz)?
