Have listened a few more times today and feeling some serious Lilith and Kali energy, which is what drew me in with Same Old Energy. The energy threaded through the song speaks to me of the dark side of the feminine which scares the piss out of the systemic hierarchy; wild women who take back their power, howling at the moon, and refuse to be owned ever again. Reclamation of autonomy and sexuality. Anger is an emotion society tries to deny us because our anger, if let free to build, would be completely righteous and unstoppable. A lot of your music speaks to me of that feeling through the ages.
