A profound lack of passion for coffee permeates this country. I live in northern Ecuador and people here may even grow coffee but hardly anyone really cares about it. I was very surprised to find that people here drink freeze dried coffee that could come from Russia for all they know. It’s sad.

Unfortunately Columbia is now growing some cheap Robusta coffee and selling it as more expensive Columbian coffee. Make sure you're getting Columbian 100% Arabica coffee.
