What has Limited Run Games been doing for indy games for the last 5 years? Why can't GameStop evolve and do that for AAA games? Despite going digital, there will always be a demand for physical media, like there is a demand for vinyl for music.
They aren't going to though. GameStop has never shown willingness to evolve, missed every opportunity to do so even with the infrastructure, and has pissed off the hardcore gaming audience for the last 20 years to have no foundation to build on.
