While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. i’m forever obsessed and stunned by her performance. it’s like i’m transferred into a magical ocean dream every time i press play. i’ve been saying this for like a million times now but halle did such an amazing job with this movie. i found myself in a constant loop of astonishment while watching this movie. specially this scene, and the reprise. we love u so much halle

Halle is rlly perfect for Ariel, I'm rlly glad they use Halle even if the original little mermaid ariel doesnt have locks and what not but Halle rlly did marvelously well, the fact tha she carries locks and locks are really heavy in water is just so cool how it looks easy

The original The Little Mermaid (1989) is a classic, but in MY opinion, THE LITTLE MERMAID (2023) is better because it has more depth of human emotion and, quite frankly the songs are performed way better. Please don't drag me. This is just MY OPINION. I speak for nobody else but myself. Halle Bailey is a next level talent, a next generation type of artist. How such a big voice can come out such a little body is just amazing to me. She is a gift. She is special. She IS Ariel. 🧜🏿♀️💫🌟

That 'LIIIVEEE' at 1:52 has more reverb than the other words as she swims through the rounded side of the cavern.. So eargasmic
she has a pretty voice and can sing. ppl are mad at this but were so ok with emma watson being the iconic bell and she can't even sing or do a proper accent!
Can you stop race changing characters, and make new, original stories with diverse characters. Nobody saw the originals because of the race of the character, so just make new, exciting stories, or have you forgotten how to do that ever since the live action movies started?
